Well, the ferry almost resulted in a huge failure! Not only did it
take much longer than we thought, it was even late! Not to mention the
hordes of drunken college "athletes" running around screaming. So,
because of the ferry mishap, we nearly missed the last train to Paris.
We literally ran on it as the doors closed. To make matters even more
exciting, we were unable to purchase a ticket beforehand and were
hopingwe could purchase one ok the train. Lucky for us, the train man
was nice and let us use our missed train ticket on this one. We were a
little disappointed we were getting into Paris much later than
expected, but we were rewarded with a beautiful 10:00 display at the
Eiffel tower. Tomorrow we see Paris at day and take a night train to
Rome! |
